Hairy Man of Kemper

Not far from a secret base and in the backwoods of Kemper County, MS, men have been seeing a hairy man/ beast haunt the woods for decades.  Among the pines that once belonged to local Indians there is an eerie atmosphere to the area where the beast has been spotted.  Rumored to have been the location of hangings in the past and gathering places for KKK from the past, the area has a history of strange and violent happenings and the trees seem to sigh that they have witnessed these events.  I have traveled briefly in the area with friends in search of the hairy man, and we have felt the creepiness of the woods in Kemper.  This beast has been blamed for eating local pets: cats, dogs, and chickens, and anything else that disappears without explanation.  The creature has been described tall with black hair and sharp teeth and glowing eyes, however,  the size varies.  It seems to only be seen at night from a distance, sometimes surrounded by a supernatural fog.  Most say that is walks upright but has been seen to "gallop" away. MS sightings of Cryptids

I spend a lot of times in Mississippi woods and waters.  I have heard some tales of creatures that were spotted in Mississippi. If you or anyone else has seen anything unusual out there please share your information and pictures with everyone and the location of the sighting.
There have been stories since my parents were young about an animal that was spotted in the Suqualena and Collinsville area that was part bear, part panther, part dog? or something else.  Some have seen the beast called "The Suqualena It", crossing the road in front of their headlights and others have spotted it while hunting in the woods.  It has been described by many as bigger than a cat or dog but with dark, blackish fur and a mouth that's like a bear's with yellow eyes like a panther.  It has a long tail, but walks more upright.  Animal oddities have intrigued many people, and most of us aren't sure if it could be a cross-species of some kind or some sort of beast of legend that has superstitions and evil attributes attached to it.  Whatever the case, these creatures are mysterious, and beg to be discussed and discovered.
